Sectional garage doors can open vertically, a sectional garage door requires less space inside and in front of the garage compared to conventional up-and-over garage doors that swing up outwards. The door leaf, consisting of multiple sections connection to one another, moves upwards on rails to the side. This means that you can park your car directly in front of the garage. Tip-Up

Garage Doors

Tip Up Garage doors are single panel doors that open under the lintel through the reveal of the opening and approximately half inside and half outside of the garage. These garage doors require less headroom above the lintel than sectional garage doors.

Tip Up Garage Doors can be used with or without automation. Available in fibreglass, timber (Meranti), aluminium and aluzinc steel.

Closing buffers fitted as standard on door panels to prevent damage.
Galvanised multi-plate ‘kicker plate’ assembly to assist with opening and to dampen closing

Requires minimum headroom for installation.
Wood tip-up doors are supplied with a padlock slide bolt. A chrome plated centre lock with dual catches and cables are available as an optional extra for garages with no internal door.
Single and double tip-up doors allow for safety cables as a safety measure to prevent injury from springs snapping.
